Ametrine is a true rarity in the world of crystals. It combines the calm energy of amethyst with the radiant power of citrine – both in a single, naturally formed crystal.
Due to temperature changes during its formation, part of the purple amethyst transforms into golden citrine – a phenomenon that occurs almost exclusively in South America.
Ametrine pieces often show phantom-like lines – like a crystal diary of the earth – and sometimes sparkle with rainbow reflections when light falls on them.
