Pink Amethyst forms deep within the Earth when iron penetrates the microcrystalline structures of amethyst. Over millions of years – often up to 130 million years – geological processes and tectonic pressure create this rare color variant of amethyst. It is found almost exclusively in Patagonia (Argentina) and southern Brazil – this beautiful point comes directly from Brazil, where I personally selected it.
