Insight into the formation of rock crystal:

Rock crystal forms through the cooling of silica melts. These melts contain silicic acid (SiO₂) and other minerals. During the cooling process, the silicates crystallize and form quartz crystals.

Geological conditions: Rock crystal forms in cavities (veins, cracks, geodes) in rocks. The formation takes place under high pressure and high temperature. In these cavities, the silicic acid collects and begins to crystallize.
