Fluorite crystallizes over millions of years in hydrothermal rock cavities, where it develops its characteristic color shades under the influence of mineral-rich solutions. Depending on composition, different colors can unite in a single crystal, making pastel fluorite especially aesthetic and unique.

Fluorite is sensitive to water and should not be stored in moisture for extended periods. To clean, a soft, dry cloth is sufficient. Direct sunlight should be avoided as it can cause colors to fade. Gentle methods like a cluster of clear quartz or a selenite plate are suitable for energetic recharging.
