An absolute dream piece: This beautiful dolphin was hand-carved by a local artist in Brazil from an exceptionally clear rock crystal. The crystal has impressive transparency and virtually no visible inclusions. Especially for a sculpture of this size, such exceptionally clear rough material is particularly rare.

The finished sculpture measures approx. 12 cm and weighs 194 g. To carve a dolphin of this size and clarity, however, the artist needs a much larger rough crystal. Large parts of the original crystal are lost during sawing, shaping, grinding, and polishing. This piece required an exceptionally clear rock crystal weighing several kilograms. That is precisely what makes such a work so special: It is not only the craftsmanship that must be of a high standard—the raw material itself must already possess a correspondingly high level of quality and clarity.

Each dolphin is individually handcrafted and is a ONE OF A KIND unique piece. The natural clarity of the rock crystal combines with the dolphin’s flowing form to create a special Crystal Art Piece.
