This sphere was specially made in Peru, personally selected by me on site, and brought to Switzerland. Each facet was hand-polished to perfectly highlight the natural beauty of the pyrite.

Formation:

Pyrite forms over millions of years deep within the earth through the crystallization of iron and sulfur under high pressure and high temperatures. This process is extremely slow and can take several million years before a pyrite crystal reaches this exceptional size.
