Incredibly beautiful formation/rock crystal specimen - 15cm, 1.13kg

Wonderful formation! A natural wonder!

Very beautiful, large points arranged in a flower-like pattern. Very clear crystals, which makes it particularly sought-after and valuable. Unfortunately, three points were slightly damaged during recovery, which can happen. However, it's hardly noticeable when viewed as a whole.

The crystal comes from Brazil and is natural and uncut.

Insight into the formation of rock crystal:

Rock crystal is formed by the cooling of silicate melts. These melts contain silica (SiO₂) and other minerals. During the cooling process, the silicates crystallize and form quartz crystals.

Geological conditions: Rock crystal forms in cavities (veins, fissures, geodes) in rocks. Formation occurs under high pressure and high temperature. Silica accumulates in these cavities and begins to crystallize.

Timeframe: The formation of rock crystal can take millions of years. During this time, the crystal grows slowly, layer by layer.
