Through slow chemical reactions with strontium-rich solutions, crystal cavities develop inside these rocks, where celestine crystals deposit and grow extremely slowly – often over periods of 20 to 80 million years. The particularly clear points require stable, calm conditions over very long times. ⏳🌍
