✨ Formation & Duration

Pink amethyst forms deep within the earth when amethyst and quartz formations develop over millions of years. The inclusion of iron during crystal growth creates the delicate pink to rosy color – a process that can take up to 130 million years.

The bubble crystals (also called spheroidal crystal formations) form through slow growth in gas-filled cavities. The flower-like structures form when many small crystals cluster star-shaped around a core – a rare growth process that occurs only under very specific geological conditions.
