🌍 Origin & Duration

Pink lithium quartz is a rare variety of the quartz group that acquires its soft pink to violet color through the incorporation of lithium ions during the crystallization process. Over millions of years, transparent quartz crystals slowly form in hydrothermal rock cavities. This process can produce phantoms – delicate growth structures that remain visible within the crystal, testifying to its development through multiple growth phases.

The phantoms form when suspended matter or mineral particles are deposited on the surface during crystal growth. Crystallization then continues, enclosing these layers. This fascinating phenomenon makes each crystal unique and demonstrates the complex, natural development over geological time.
